The Mighty Sailor Band will be participating in the USF HOT Day 2010 on Saturday Sept 4th.

Last Minute Notes:

Please make sure that prior to arriving that your students have their names and schools printed clearly on their instruments. The tags do not need to be fancy, a piece of tape and a permanent marker will be just fine! After checking in, your students will be directed to put their instrument cases in a specific area. {NOTE: We will have masking tape and markers in the band room tomorrow in case you are unable to mark your case at home} Once they are done with their rehearsal, ALL cases will be loaded on our trucks and taken over to Raymond James. This is Raymond James' policy! After we have loaded the trucks, the students will be given a Chick-fil-a lunch and two bottles of water. You will not be able to bring this water into Raymond James so please finish the water before you enter the stadium. After the students perform, we will give them another bottle of water.

Please make sure that your students have all of these things: khaki shorts, athletic shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS!), some form of ID (a school ID will work just fine), money for concessions at Raymond James, flip folder, lyre, and any other instrument accessory that they may need.

Please DO NOT bring: backpacks or any large bags, cameras, food, water bottles, seat cushions, flags or banners, umbrellas, video cameras, coolers, and air horns or any type of noisemaking device. These things will not be allowed into Raymond James Stadium. I will also HIGHLY recommend your bring ponchos {NOTE: we will bring our black MSB rain ponchos}, sunscreen, and sunglasses as this is Florida and our weather can be quite unpredictable!

FINAL NOTE IS FOR PARENTS DRIVING THEMSELVES: If you are carpooling, we suggest that you park in lot E4 or E2 (maps will be provided in your packets at check in). Parking for cars is unfortunately not free so please be prepared to pay $12-$15 to park. Also, if you have any medical needs or questions, please Contact the Tampa Sports Authority Office at (813) 350-6500 for further assistance. They are open weekdays from 8am-5pm.
